2024 - 2025 Individual Membership - Black Belt

Alberta Taekwondo Association Registration

NOTE: Each individual registration must have a unique email address – you cannot register multiple people using the same email address.

All Do-jangs, Black Belts and Colour Belts must be ATA Members in order to participate in ATA sanctioned events. All Black Belts must be registered ATA Members on or before the date of a sanctioned tournament in order to receive ranking points at that tournament. All membership registrations (including membership fees) must be completed and received by the ATA for membership in the ATA. Only properly registered Black Belts who meet the criteria as a “Voting Member Black Belt” and who have registered by the November 30th deadline will be allowed to vote at the AGM of the Alberta Taekwondo Association.

Registrations after November 30th are subject to an amount equal to twice the respective ATA membership fee, and applies to Individual and Dojang membership applications.

All membership applications are subject to Approval and Acceptance by the ATA Board.

Registration fees are paid to the Alberta Taekwondo Association as follows:

ATA Black Belt Fee + Insurance + National Fee = $30.00
ATA Color Belt Fee + Insurance + National Fee = $20.00

National fees are established by Taekwondo Canada, and while paid at the same time as the Alberta Taekwondo Association registration, are a separate financial obligation. The Alberta Taekwondo Association will forward the Taekwondo Canada portion to Taekwondo Canada.

Individual Insurance fees are established by the Insurance Company.
